Like many older teenage athletes, Ella Spencer went through a period when, despite the training, the enthusiasm, the dedication and time, things don’t seem to click. You have time when performances are not what you would like, what you thought you should do. Despite this, Ella competed tirelessly for the club, whether Cross Country, Road, or Track, with many excellent performances.
In December Ella competed in the Gloucestershire Schools XC, winning that title and then followed that with an excellent pb indoors over 3k to rank highly in SW rankings.
Ella is my final Chairmans Member of the Month for 2025 demonstrating that with perseverance, sometimes things can just come together.
