I’m very pleased to announce my March Chairman’s Member of the Month. Finley Byrne. Finley was very close to winning both January and February, but in March he was outstanding from start to finish.
He began the month winning a fantastic race against Leo Blyton (Bicester) to secure the overall title for U15B and help in winning the team award in the Oxford League XC.
He then finished 5th in the English School XC and following on from this represented England Schools the following weekend. And if this was not enough for March, in the final weekend he finished 2nd in the Midland Counties 5k road championships, despite being at the bottom of the age group. A truly fantastic month.
