1. Santa vs Rudolph Race

This Christmas, Brighter Futures are merging their annual Reindeer Run with the Swindon Phoenix Rotary Clubs' Santa Run. This will bring together Swindon's most loved winter fun runs to create one big event on Sunday 1 December at Lydiard Park. The Christmas themed run will be called Santa vs Rudolph. There will be the choice of 3k, 5k or 10k routes, which participants can run, jog or walk. Depending on your team, runners will be able to wear a Santa hat or reindeer antlers. Participants just need to choose whether they are Team Santa or Team Rudolph! All money raised will be split between Brighter Futures and the Swindon Phoenix Rotary Club, who will be donating their share of the fundraising to Wiltshire Air Ambulance. The event is selling really fast and we think the event will now sell out in advance. So we would encourage anyone interested in taking part, to sign up as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. 2. Wickstead Wander

Highworth Running Club are pleased to announce that their Wickstead Wander event will take place at 11:00 on Sun 8th December.

• For 'Track' members - included in the monthly fee paid
• Minimum age on race day is 15.
• Entry fee is £10 (affiliated) / £12 (unaffiliated).
• The route takes in part of the Wickstead Farm Equestrian Centre which allows us to utilise some 'obstacles' along the way.
• Fancy dress is encouraged and proceeds from the event are donated to the R.D.A.
