At the third time of asking a fantastic team performance saw us promoted to the YDL lower age group premier league for the first time in many years.

Not only did we achieve promotion but we actually won the meeting outright which shows the huge progress we are making as a club not only in participation numbers but also in terms of quality of performance.

This season has been a fantastic team effort from everyone at the club not least our officials, coaches, parent helpers and all those parents and children who helped out by donating cakes and selling it on match days. I have received numerous comments on how smart our facility looks and what a good buzz we have going on at the club.

The match itself was an outstanding success with as always far too many excellent individual performances to mention although it was fantastic reward for our 2nd year U15s to sign off from YDL by taking us to promotion in their final meeting, it's now up to those following on to try and maintain the standards they have set.

That's it for the season as far as track team events go, but once again well done to everyone, it's a really proud day for the club.
