Laila Belgrave competed at the Sandra Luke Memorial open meeting in Oxford on 27th May. It was a multi–event meet, where each athlete of Laila's age had to run a 75m, complete a 55m hurdles and participate in the long jump. Thanks to a monster long jump of 3.96m, Laila ended up winning the U11G category plus broke a Sandra Luke U11G record that had stood since 1998!! Deservedly, Laila was given the all-round cup.
