U11 Success in County Championships

Swindon Harriers did rather well at various County Championships last weekend and their younger counterparts didn't let the side down.

At Tidworth, Wiltshire, Sophie Imeson led the charge coming 1st in the long jump, 1st in the vortex throw and 1st overall. Not to be out-done, Reka Carr finished in overall 2nd place and came first among the Girls in the 75m sprint.

Securing a lock-out of 1st places in the 75m, James Kyeremeh came 1st for the Boys.

And just over the border in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, James Bagot became the County U11 600m champion in a time of 1 minute 54.6 seconds, narrowly missing out on our own Harriers club record. There's still plenty of time for you to break that record yet, James!

Well done to all 17 of our young athletes children who competed either in the Gloucestershire or Wiltshire County Championships.
