As we had expected the track refurbishment will be restarted in April – in fact the contractors will be back on site slightly earlier than expected, they arrive on Thursday 30th March to start the preparatory works.

As a result the track and field will be closed for training with effect from the 30th March until probably the end of April, further updates will be posted in due course.

Training will continue during this period similarly to when the track was closed before Christmas, the under 11s will be at St Josephs School and other groups will meet on the grass area adjacent to the track. Please liaise with your coach as to the precise details.
