How would you like to run a marathon in Poland?

A trip is being organised to Swindon’s twin city in Poland, this will be a wonderful opportunity to sample Polish culture amid the historic surroundings of Torun the birth place of Copernicus, the home of Teutonic knights and a university of
30,000 students matched by a wonderful old town centre with shops and
restaurants.

The trip includes the opportunity of taking part in the Torun Half and full marathon (for information on the marathon click here) .The organisers have six free places and a reasonable charge for additional competitors. Note this a potential revenge mission as it was Torun runner Krzysztof Bartkiewicz who won the Swindon Half Marathon in 2009!

The trip runs from Saturday 5th June to Wednesday 9th June. The bargain price is £110 for four nights bed and breakfast and coach travel to Bristol airport and from Bydgoszcz airport to Torun. Tickets for the flight with Ryanair must be bought individually.
